About The Position

Knowledge Management, Inc. is seeking experienced a Sr. Logistics/Real Property Analyst who is intimately familiar with Marine Corps logistics policies, processes and systems. This position will focus on: Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the financial remediation of current and future audit deficiencies related to Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E), Inventory and Related Property, other asset segments and the Acquire-to-Retire (A2R), Plan-to-Stock (P2S), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) Assist the Marine Corps with establishing and/or maintaining an auditable opening balance and subsequent roll-forward reporting in support of full financial statement audit meeting the requirements of the accounting standards promulgated by the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB). Assist, in the form of recommendations and analysis, with the development of policies, implementation guidance, desktop guides and job aids to promote an effective internal control environment. Assist, in the form of recommendations and analysis, in the development of the necessary artifacts (risk assessments, control matrices, test plans/scripts, business process narratives, and reporting mechanisms) to support an effective internal control program in accordance with applicable guidance and standards from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Government Accountability Office (GAO). Support the Marine Corps, in the form of recommendations and analysis, with the adoption/integration of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and OMB Circular A-123 (OMB A-123 or A-123) requirements into the existing compliance and inspection teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a business or management field of study
  • Minimum of Nine (9) years of experience with U.S. Marine Corps logistics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on logistics and supply chain management.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
