As a Sr LNG Technician, you will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent experience, with preference for education and/or certification in related mechanical or electrical fields. Relevant education and certifications may be considered toward the experience requirement.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial setting, particularly focusing on plant operations and maintenance.
• Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• The capability to establish and conduct gas handling procedures and pinpoint faults with the aid of PIDs and PFDs.
• Possession of a legitimate driver’s license and the capacity to use company vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out both preventative and corrective maintenance of, but not limited to, pumps, compressors, and valves in an industrial environment, coupling and balancing of prime movers and their connections to process equipment, fans, belts, and bearings.
• Applying PIDs and PFDs to identify process issues and perform gas handling procedures along with LOTOs (Lock Out, Tag Out).
• Controlling and continuously monitoring compression and process variables at the LNG facility.
• Maintaining operator qualifications and covering shifts for shiftwork operators as needed.
• Effectively directing and coordinating plant operations and maintenance activities.
