About The Position

The Sr. Line Leader at Jabil is responsible for providing leadership, motivation, and training to team members in a production environment. This role involves supervising day-to-day activities on the production line, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, yield, and productivity according to established procedures. The Sr. Line Leader plays a crucial role in troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and optimizing production processes to meet company goals.

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• General knowledge of electronic component handling.
• Knowledge of process flows including flow charts and written processes.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Jabil systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform middle-level troubleshooting on the production line.
• Maintain and conduct changeovers on all equipment on assigned line(s).
• Perform preventive maintenance of equipment on assigned line(s) as required.
• Provide recommendations to engineering staff to improve line balancing and optimize machine programs.
• Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in managing the line and drive operators to achieve satisfactory machine utilization and efficiency.
• Highlight high fallout to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Achieve daily standards set by the Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Identify and develop potential operators for handling equipment effectively.
• Guide and assist operators in the skills required for their jobs.
• Monitor CIQ system implementation in the production line and ensure standards are met.
• Identify quality issues/defects in real-time and take necessary actions immediately.
• Serve as a communication link between operators and management.
