About The Position

The Gig: Virgin Voyages is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Sr. Analyst to keep our daily email engine humming. You’ll manage the end-to-end workflow for emails - owning intake, asset readiness, copy/version control, QA, scheduling, and post-send checks. You have hands-on experience building emails within an email service provider and are comfortable working with developers to turn a brief into a polished, on-brand send. This role sits within the Lifecycle Marketing team and partners closely with Brand/Studio, Integrated Marketing, Trade Marketing, Analytics, and Operations. You’ll help us evolve from an email calendar to an AI-powered Sailor Communications Hub, where the right message goes to the right Sailor at the right time. This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days. What You'll Be Up To: Program Operations & Trafficking (50%) Run the day-to-day email workflow: manage briefs, intake forms, timelines, and stakeholder approvals. Partner with Lifecycle team to build quarterly plans and tests against broader org goals Ensure “send readiness” for every campaign (copy, legal, links, images, promo codes, dynamic feeds, audience/segment logic, tracking). Maintain the email calendar and prevent collisions across batches, automations, and editorial sends. Keep documentation current (naming conventions, routing rules, templates, playbooks). Cross-Functional Coordination (20%) Partner with the cross-functional Sailor communication working group to support with key initiatives, milestones, timelines and testing. Liaise with Brand/Studio for assets and copy; coordinate with Trade Marketing and Integrated Marketing to align with broader campaigns. Coordinate with Sales teams on ad-hoc email campaigns including approvals, templates, and QA Keep stakeholders informed with concise status updates, checklists, and risk/issue logs. Collaborate with SMS, Direct Mail and Push leads to ensure cross-channel consistency when email is part of an integrated plan. Measurement & Continuous Improvement (20%) Pull daily/weekly performance snapshots; track deliverability basics and flag anomalies. Document test plans and results; roll wins into playbooks. Use AI-assisted tools for quality control and for lightweight content variants within brand guardrails. Research & work with the Lifecycle Marketing team to pilot emerging AI to improve team speed and quality; document results and recommend upgrades to processes. Build, QA & Automations (10%) Support in peak season to build/update emails in the our ESP using modular templates Run pre-send QA: link mapping, rendering tests and accessibility checks as needed. Monitor and optimize automated journeys to validate logic and timing, and propose and run tests Propose and implement testing optimizations with clear hypotheses. Superpowers Required: 3-4 years in email marketing or lifecycle operations within an ESP (e.g., Cordial, Braze, SFMC, Iterable, Klaviyo). Hands-on email building experience; comfort with modular templates and basic HTML/CSS for email (tables, inline styles) is a plus. Proficient in workflow tools (Airtable/Jira/Asana), QA/rendering tools (Litmus/Email on Acid), and productivity suites (Google Workspace). Strong project management skills: you love spreadsheets and checklists, like to build out plans, close loops fast, and thrive on deadlines. Analytical instincts: can read a dashboard, spot outliers, and suggest next tests. Familiarity with email best practices: segmentation/suppressions, UTM/tracking hygiene, accessibility, and deliverability fundamentals. Experience with dynamic content tools (e.g., Cordial, Movable Ink/Nifty) and/or SMS is a plus. Curiosity about AI tools for QA, content variants, and workflow acceleration.
