About The Position

Zurich North America is currently looking for a Senior Legal Intern for the summer of 2026 to support our Corporate Law team within the Legal Services organization out of our Schaumburg, IL office. This intern will work under immediate supervision and perform requested tasks alongside professionals who perform various Corporate Law roles. Generally, this position is part of a summer program with an assigned mentor.

Requirements

• In good standing and actively pursuing a Juris Doctorate.
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program and will be enrolled in the upcoming fall Semester 2026.
• Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of at least two years of law school (rising 3L status preferred) by the start of the internship.
• Research skills.
• Knowledge of Westlaw.
• Problem-solving skills in customer-focused environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Quick Learner.
• Previous experience in an internship, externship, or clerkship in a legal setting.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with and on various assignments from attorneys from different practices, including legal research and legal memo writing.
