Freedom for the soul. Are you ready to join us? The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Product Development Center (PDC) located in Wauwatosa, WI is home to the mantra - You dream it. We build it. Join our team as a Sr. Legal Counsel, Employment. The Employment Attorney is responsible for supporting Harley-Davidson's Human Resources team. This position will focus on: (1) providing day-to-day employment law advice on a variety of topics, including FMLA, ADA, discrimination, counseling, discipline, documentation, terminations, wage & hour, collective bargaining, compensation, benefits, ERISA and other matters; (2) conducting HR-related internal investigations, including collecting relevant documents, interviewing current and former employees, and preparing findings; and (3) managing labor and employment litigation. This position will also be responsible for monitoring relevant federal, state, and local legal developments, working with HR to remediate any non-compliant employment practices from recruitment through termination, reviewing and approving severance agreements, preparing and revising relevant HR policies, and providing training to HR and business professionals as required.
