As a legal analyst at Bloomberg Law, you will collaborate with a team of legal professionals to create and enhance employment law content. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise in employment law to recommend, design, and execute cross-team projects that support legal practitioners. You will be responsible for implementing the employment law roadmap, which encompasses critical topics such as discrimination, wage and hour laws, noncompete agreements, workplace safety, labor relations, and worker classification. This position requires a proactive approach to drafting and curating practical guidance that assists legal practitioners in both substance and workflow, enabling them to work more efficiently and learn new areas effectively. In addition to content creation, you will author analyses of legal market trends that are data-driven, utilizing your legal expertise to provide valuable insights to lawyers. Your contributions will help improve their understanding of legal developments and enhance their practice. You will also be tasked with conceiving and developing technology-enhanced tools and content tailored for the legal market. Participation in assigned projects will be essential, as you will provide continuous feedback on project performance to your peers, Team Lead, and Director. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work within and across teams to develop, curate, and maintain unique content and analysis ideas. Engaging in thought leadership will be a significant aspect of your responsibilities, involving interactions with law school, law firm, government, and corporate leaders, as well as participation in industry conferences, webinars, and social media. Furthermore, you will communicate with Bloomberg Law's sales, customer experience, and marketing teams to facilitate a feedback loop that generates new content ideas directly from customers.
