About The Position

We're looking for a Sr. Learning Technology Manager who is customer-obsessed and driven to innovate as we build and transform how we make content and education available to employees, customers, and partners when they need it. The right candidate will help establish, influence, and drive our learning technology strategy and roadmap. This includes identifying and implementing learning technology solutions, tools, and platforms as well as staying abreast of and piloting emerging technologies. You will be creative, not afraid to roll-up sleeves, and have demonstrated drive to solve real customer problems and revolutionize learning experiences. This individual will need to be self-motivated, highly organized, and have what it takes to challenge status-quo. This individual contributor role will report into the Performance, Education, and Knowledge (PEAK) Team as part of the global Customer Experience organization comprising Technical Services, Advanced Services, PEAK, and Customer Success.

Requirements

  • BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 8 years experience in learning & development organization and managing complex projects involving learning technologies
  • Knowledge and experience evaluating, implementing, administering, managing digital technologies, learning experience platforms, learning and content management systems, assessment/evaluation tools, and multimedia/authoring tools
  • Experience evaluating learning technologies, use case/requirements documentation, and performing research
  • Previous experience working in a technical support and/or customer support organization is a strong plus
  • Ability to work independently, but also able to collaborate with others with a positive attitude
  • Background in instructional design, microlearning, simulations, virtual reality, augmented reality, self-paced and video-based learning
  • Expert project/program management skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert change management skills to drive adoption and ongoing improvement
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to try new methods, tools, and processes to improve learning experiences
  • Experience with leading projects for an entire group or department, or a major piece of a larger cross company product or project
  • Deep expertise in variety of learning technologies - LMS, LXP, CMS, third party training vendors apps, authoring and publishing tools, web strategy and much more
  • Experience using data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve individual and organizational performance
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc.
  • Strong knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and AICC standards
  • Significant experience working where customer satisfaction is paramount in a service delivery care environment

Responsibilities

  • Deep expertise in ed-tech across the entire breadth of its portfolio, and demonstrated experience in scaling and innovating
  • Experience designing or scaling learning platforms powered by AI, adaptive technology, or advanced content tools
  • Establish and gain buy-in, influence, and drive adoption of the learning technology strategy, roadmap, and toolbox
  • Drive business insights and solutions through collection and analysis of data, identifying process improvements, and recommending strategies to enhance efficiency and performance
  • Translate business and user needs into clear requirements and coordinate between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Consult on the use of learning technology solutions and identify which blend of technologies are most appropriate given any scenario, gathering technical and user experience requirements as needed
  • Rapidly prototype, build, and deploy learning technology solutions while measuring its impact
  • Design, implement, and continuously maintain/evolve learning technology solutions and experiences including opportunities to enhance/automate
  • Serve as a thought leader for Pure learning community by consulting with other internal learning teams to share best practices to ensure continuity across multiple programs and teams
  • Partner with functional stakeholders and variety of groups in and out of Pure to ensure all end user needs are met
  • Provide technical advice and guidance, and manage the integration of technology into our learning experience
  • Lead operations for reports and dashboards of user activity, compliance, quality and effectiveness of learning solutions depending upon business needs
  • Identify and oversee improvements of our current learning infrastructure in identifying and planning short and long-term project priorities and requirements
  • Automate team processes and provide day-to-day administration and troubleshooting of existing tools and technologies
