Sr Lab Technician
About The Position
Our customer is a pioneer in accelerated computing, advancing innovation in AI, high-performance computing, and sophisticated graphics. The System Level Test Lab Tech handles validation of ASICS at the system level before production launch. This Senior Lab Technician role supports a dynamic lab environment and collaborates closely with Product Engineering and Test Engineering groups. The position offers hands-on experience with complex hardware platforms and essential lab operations. This role is crucial for sustaining consistent and expandable lab performance. Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware labs, system-level testing, or test environments
- Strong experience with hardware troubleshooting, system bring up, and lab equipment support
- Ability to work independently on moderately complex technical issues
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Providing support for ASIC systems by handling setup, bring up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Serving as an on-floor technical resource for complex lab and system-level test issues
- Collaborating with Lab Team, Product Engineering, and Test Engineering teams to support testing and lab operations
- Training and guiding contractor technicians to ensure consistent execution and knowledge transfer
- Supporting testing, sample generation, program checkout, and experiment execution in the lab
