About The Position

We are seeking experienced Java developers with a strong background in Spring Boot and Microservices to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Telecom industry and be proficient in designing and coding Microservices for deployment in a Kubernetes environment. This position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in a Telecommunication office location such as Bay Area, CA, Dallas, TX, Atlanta, GA, NY, or NJ.

Requirements

• More than 13 years of experience in software development, particularly with Java.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with REST APIs and back-end Oracle Database.
• Familiarity with source code tracking and version control systems (Stash/GIT/GitLab).
• Experience in an agile development environment.
• Knowledge of software debugging tools (JDB, JMX).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the Telecom industry.
• Familiarity with open source logging and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and code Microservices using Java Spring Boot for deployment on Kubernetes.
• Lead development efforts and plan/forecast release timelines.
• Help clear roadblocks and deliver REST APIs for Microservices.
• Integrate and develop messaging infrastructures using Kafka, Thrift, and PROTO-BUF.
• Utilize open source logging and reporting solutions such as Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Develop and manage databases including MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, and SQL/NoSQL.
