About The Position

All while providing pleasant and patient customer service and establishing great working relationships with clients, vendors, and other members of the team, the Senior IT Specialist: Significantly contributes to our overall IT strategy Research, tests, and participates in the selection process and implementation of new technologies Ensures application, system, network, and data security Configures, installs, administers, monitors, and maintains of our various applications, systems and networks Supports the IT needs of our end users at our corporate offices and schools Principal Duties and responsibilities: Significantly contributes to our overall IT strategy and it’s execution including roadmaps, requirements gathering, process improvements, business needs analysis, presentations, capital and expense requests, and project and program management Provide Senior-level IT expertise concerning the following technologies: IT Administration: Domain Administration, Active Directory, Single Sign On, Identity & Access Management, DNS/DHCP, etc. IT Security: Data Security & Loss Protection, Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity, Endpoint Protection, Firewalls, etc. Applications: Microsoft Stack; Microsoft O365; SaaS applications, etc. Data: Business Intelligence; Robotic Process Automation; Database Administration End User Computing: PC, Servers, Storage Devices, iPads, Printers, etc. Networks: Routers, Switches, Firewall, VLANS, WLANs, Internet Connectivity, DMZ, etc. Research, tests, and participates in the selection process and implementation of new technologies Ensures application, system, network, and data security Provide Senior-level IT configuration, installation, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of our various applications, systems and networks Performs on-site installation and support of application, computer, server, and network technologies at corporate offices and schools Provide Senior-level IT support of our end users at our corporate offices and schools including: Walking clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults Replace computer and network parts and equipment as required Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system Appropriately prioritize, troubleshoot, and communicate concerning open cases Love Making a Difference? Requirements

  • Must pass the Applicant Background Study required by the Department of Human Services.
  • Must have documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • 10+ years of Information Technology experience
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Wide technical support experience
  • Team player with the ability to manage competing priorities while servicing our clients effectively
  • Dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive outlook
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Must have the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs from a standing position or up to 30-40 lbs climbing a ladder or lift above the shoulders with or without accommodations.
  • Must be able to bend over and crawl on hands and knees with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree and equivalent experience in a relevant field preferred
