About The Position

The Sr IT Project Management Specialist for Honeywell International, Inc. in Charlotte, NC will provide IT infrastructure project management expertise in the development of IT strategy and assure effective delivery of multiple complex projects within Honeywell IT, ensuring both schedule and budget fidelity. The role involves partnering across Strategic Business Groups (SBGs) to foster a one Honeywell approach and enable effective cross-Honeywell leverage of tools and technology. The specialist will work with IT Business Partners during the ‘feasibility and strategy' phase of a potential project to assist in driving overall IT strategy scenarios, cost, and timeline estimates. Additionally, the role includes developing and deploying standard solutions across the IT portfolio, ensuring reuse of best-in-class solutions and adhering to a common process model throughout. The specialist will negotiate for financial, physical, or human resources to support multiple projects (within and across organizational boundaries) and will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in IT, Finance, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• 5 years of project management experience managing complex global IT infrastructure projects, consolidations, and data center migrations.
• Experience leading a geographically distributed team.
• Solid experience with IT infrastructure projects with exposure to latest industry trends around digital transformation, cloud technologies, data centers, etc.
• Proven skills and ability to successfully manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
• Experience with project management tools, finance, procurement and budget management, resource management, project schedule development and management, risk mitigation skills.

Responsibilities
