About The Position

Lead and deliver complex IT and infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring scope, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met. The Senior Project Manager will produce and own core project artifacts, coordinate cross‑functional teams and vendors, manage stakeholder communications, and drive operational readiness and sustainment for delivered solutions. This role may also support the organization’s Asset Management program.

Requirements

  • 7–12 years of project management experience delivering IT or infrastructure projects; demonstrated end‑to‑end ownership.
  • Proven authorship of Project Charters, WBS/User Stories, integrated schedules, Risk & Mitigation Logs, Test Plans, Transition Plans, and Project Acceptance Documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience, including executive reporting and steering committee facilitation.
  • Experience with hybrid delivery models (Agile + Waterfall) and change control processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Jira or Azure DevOps, Confluence or SharePoint, and Power BI or Excel dashboards.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred; CSM/SAFe or similar Agile certification a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with Asset Management programs, CMDB/CMMS integrations, data‑center relocations, or physical asset migrations.
  • Experience in regulated or audit‑sensitive environments (HIPAA, NIST, ISO) or large capital program governance.
  • History of measurable delivery outcomes (e.g., schedule variance, cost savings, incident reduction).

Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end project delivery — deliver projects within defined scope, quality, schedule, and cost targets.
  • Produce required artifacts — Project Charter; WBS / User Stories; Integrated Project Schedule; Communications Plan; Risk & Mitigation Log; Resource Plan; Training Plan; Change Management Log; Test Plan; Transition Plan; Project Acceptance Documentation; Lessons Learned; Sustainability / Contingency Plan; Project Completion Presentation.
  • Governance and reporting — maintain version‑controlled artifacts, executive dashboards, steering committee materials, and weekly status reporting.
  • Risk and change management — identify, track, and mitigate risks; manage formal change control and re‑baselining when required.
  • Testing and acceptance — author Test Plans, coordinate UAT, manage defect triage, and secure formal acceptance sign‑offs.
  • Transition and sustainment — create runbooks, SOPs, training, and contingency plans to ensure operational readiness and handover.
  • Stakeholder and vendor management — lead executive communications, negotiate vendor deliverables and SLAs, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Continuous improvement — capture lessons learned and implement process improvements to increase delivery predictability and quality.
