You will report directly to our Director of IT Project Management and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Note: New hires will work onsite M-F for the first 90 days.

Requirements

  • 6 or more years of experience in IT project management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a high-performing team.
  • Proven success in delivering IT projects, meeting quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • US PERSON REQUIREMENT Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8 or more years of experience in IT project management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and strategic IT initiatives.
  • Strong project portfolio management skills.
  • A passion for staying current with emerging industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT project managers, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering their professional growth.
  • Collaborate closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams to define and execute IT project strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring they drive innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and best practices
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track project progress
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate and allocate resources, including internal team members and external vendors, to ensure project success
