The Senior IT Operations Support Specialist will provide IT support for internal users of Rolls-Royce Solutions America IT systems via phone, email, and other remote support utilities using all available tools and resources. This role involves providing 2nd level end user support for user administration, general systems access, client devices, software, and applications, and when necessary, assisting other 2nd and 3rd level supporters for troubleshooting. The specialist will also provide 2nd level support for all telecommunication, network, and server hardware & systems, and assist with the deployment, configuration, and installation of end user client devices such as PCs, printers, and other devices that end users interact with. Additionally, the role requires preserving and enforcing the company’s IT policies and procedures, using the corporate IT service desk system to create/update tickets for all incidents and service requests, and collaborating with local, regional, and global members of the Rolls Royce Power Systems IT organization to continuously improve service levels.
