About The Position

The Senior Mgr IT Application Support provides oversight, consultative advice and guidance to others as the Lead Designer and/or top technical Development Specialist within the organization. Role also leads the future direction of development and design patterns to be used across multiple systems / complex applications / cross businesses and for new and emerging technology projects. Provides technical guidance, direction or expertise to others as a Senior Specialist or top technical lead on significant and complex development / design issues that may impact transformational technology or cross business strategic initiatives. Extensive understanding of the business supported and the overall Bank with deep expertise and specialized knowledge of technology concepts, technical environment, direction and related technology / tools. Helps set bank standards on infrastructure, architecture and various other areas of technology from a design / support / solutions perspective. Works in close partnership with technology COE leads in Architecture, Infrastructure, Security and/or third party / external vendor leadership teams in assessing development / solutions designs to meet transformational or strategic needs of the Bank.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate; Graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years related experience.

Nice To Haves

• 10+ years experience with Java.
• 5+ years experience with Angular 16+ or similar UI technology like React.js.
• 5+ years experience with Spring framework (Spring Core with Annotation, Spring Boot, Spring Rest docs).
• 2+ years of experience with deployment automation tools: Jenkins or similar products.
• 2+ years of experience with logging frameworks SLF4J, Logback or similar products.
• 2+ years experience in writing unit test cases with Junit 4.
• Proven experience working in agile methodology.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (such as Splunk, Datadog, and Dynatrace).
• Experience in both preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Experience in managing a team of developers in onshore and offshore.
