We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with deep expertise in the Atlassian ecosystem to design, build, and enhance solutions that improve organizational efficiency and support strategic business objectives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent logical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions. THE PERSON The ideal candidate is a fast learner and critical thinker with a strong technical foundation in Atlassian application development, API integrations, and AI‑related technologies. You should be comfortable analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and architecting solutions that deliver measurable impact.

Requirements

Develop solutions extending Atlassian Forge, REST services , integrations and JIRA plugins.
Serve as the JIRA / Confluence technical resource (Subject Matter Expert).
Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, design and programming techniques.
In-depth experience of automation, designing and implementing applications.
Develop tools and methodologies to improve the effectiveness of the development process.
Ability to source data from legacy systems, effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.

Comfortable in assisting project teams develop requirement and design specifications for new and existing applications.

Responsibilities

Design and develop custom solutions using python, java scripts, Atlassian Forge, REST APIs, automation frameworks, AI development, Database.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Jira, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools , integration with other applications, providing technical guidance and best practices.
Conduct structured problem analysis, system design, and high‑quality software development following modern engineering practices.
Build and enhance automation, applications, and integrations to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain tools, frameworks, and methodologies that support continuous improvement in the development process.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into sound technical designs and implementation plans.
Work with legacy systems to extract, transform, and integrate data into the Atlassian ecosystem.
Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to leverage emerging technologies— including AI capabilities— to enhance services and application performance.
