About The Position

Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. IT Business Analyst! In this exciting role - you will work directly with business leaders, business users, and IT teammates to plan, define, design, specify, test, train, implement, and support manufacturing related business processes and systems. Under intermittent supervision, the position works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. This high performing team member exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Requirements

• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
• Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in person out of Faribault and/or Owatonna MN facilities
• 4+ Years of experience in data analysis, IT Business analysis
• Knowledge of Production, Quality & Warehouse processes
• Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)

Nice To Haves

• 6+ Years of BA experience within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in developing and debugging SQL queries

Responsibilities

• Production Floor Support for day-to-day activities
• Serve as the primary connect between IT and manufacturing team for any existing and upcoming projects
• Functional Requirement gathering and Documentation
• Work on solution approach with respective teams
• Support implementation team
• ServiceNow Ticket management
• Assist in evaluating business needs, research and perform impact analysis of new requirements or changes
• Perform and manage application configuration, testing & rollout of MES Application
• Troubleshooting of Printing application like Cipher, Bartender etc.
• Resolve issues and provide RCA of issues
• Understand current solution Design & implementation
• Working as a Business Analyst being a key link between IT and Business
