About The Position

You will be part of transforming Honeywell's IT organization through the delivery of technology products that will directly impact the company's growth. You will report directly to our Sr. IT Manager and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA or Hosuton, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule. Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in AEM and/or microservices using Java Spring framework development, including designing, developing, and maintaining AEM solutions (business and presentation logic)
  • Experience with Java, HTML, CSS, & JS, OSGi, Git repositories, and other relevant technologies used in AEM development.
  • Experience with AEM Cloud and Headless Architecture for Content Delivery

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, SAFe is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with other products SAP Hybris, Apigee, elastic search, ETL development is a plus
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical solutions for our company's portal using AEM, Java Spring and microservices architecture.
  • Ensure that technical solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to industry best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure that code quality is maintained throughout the development process.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and apply them to improve our company's portal.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the development process.
