This position partners closely with senior leadership to communicate financial performance, strategy, and long-term value creation to the investment community. The role blends deep financial analysis, capital markets insight, and executive-level communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, FP&A, or corporate finance
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation, and capital markets
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial and strategic topics clearly
- High degree of professionalism, judgment, and discretion
Nice To Haves
- CFA designation or progress toward CFA
- Experience supporting earnings, guidance, and investor interactions
- Familiarity with public company disclosure requirements
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or Capital IQ
Responsibilities
- Lead preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including press releases, earnings scripts, investor presentations, and detailed Q&A support
- Develop and refine core investor messaging in partnership with Finance, Strategy, Legal, and Communications teams
- Support guidance formulation, scenario analysis, and messaging alignment
- Maintain earnings calendars, disclosure timelines, and internal review processes
- Own internal IR models, including long-range financial models, consensus tracking, and sensitivity analyses
- Analyze quarterly and annual performance, key drivers, and segment-level results
- Evaluate valuation, capital structure, and return frameworks relative to peers
- Support capital allocation and capital markets analyses
- Prepare senior executives for investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and non-deal meetings
- Serve as a point of contact for sell-side analysts and institutional investors on routine matters
- Track investor feedback, key themes, and perception trends; synthesize insights for leadership
- Maintain shareholder analysis, targeting, and engagement plans
- Monitor peer earnings, estimates, valuation multiples, and strategic actions
- Track industry trends, macro developments, and investor positioning
- Support investor perception studies and competitive benchmarking
- Ensure external communications comply with Reg FD and disclosure requirements
- Coordinate preparation and review of IR-related filings and public disclosures
- Own and maintain IR website content and supporting materials
- Partner with Legal on disclosure controls and best practices
- Support capital markets transactions, including equity and debt offerings and rating agency engagements
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning, investor day preparation, and M&A-related communications
- Support ESG and sustainability disclosures, as applicable
- Mentor junior team members and support development of IR processes and tools
