Position Summary: The Sr Inventory Auditor is responsible for managing and reconciling inventory records at various field locations. This role ensures accurate tracking, reporting, and control of inventory to support operational efficiency and financial accuracy. The Sr Inventory Auditor works closely with the field sales teams, field asset management teams, and finance to maintain inventory integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of experience with a manufacturing or a distribution company
  • Extensive experience with Excel commands and functions: PIVOTS, LOOKUPS, IF STATEMENTS, CHARTS, INDEX, MATCH, CONDITIONAL FORMATTING, etc.
  • Must pass an excel test.
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems
  • Self-Starter with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Detail-orientated, organized and deadline driven with proven ability to multitask effectively while adapting to changing priorities
  • Derive energy from facing challenges and provide actionable solutions
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Requires a demonstrated ability to be objective and use good judgment
  • Troubleshoot critical issues in a timely fashion

Responsibilities

  • Conduct the annual field confirmation process and reconcile with inventory records.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date field inventory records using company systems and software.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between the confirmations returned from Sales Reps and the accounting records.
  • Coordinate with Field Reps to monitor inventory movements and correct errors.
  • Prepare and submit timely inventory reports to management.
  • Participate in physical inventory audits when needed and implement controls to prevent loss or theft.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to inventory accounting.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve the annual confirmation process.
  • Track and report on damaged, missing or slow-moving inventory items.
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
