About The Position

Ensures the efficient movement and clearance of import/export freight in compliance with established regulations and procedures for any international import/export freight which includes freight held 'in-bond' per customers' request for broker-select clearance option. Provides training and technical expertise to IDAs. Updates operating procedures and takes proactive measures to reduce potential liability. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Eighteen (18) months of experience in the international documentation agent (IDA) job classification.
• Experience in COSMOS, KIAC, VISA, FAMIS, TORTES, AMS, IPBSO, etc.
• Proficiency in PC software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to type at least 25 wpm.
• Knowledge of processing state department license (SDL) shipments.
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
