The candidate for this position will work in collaboration with the Interior Design and Architecture groups to provide services in all Design Studios. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Requirements

Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Revit
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Collaborative and professional work ethic
Ability to work well in teams and with multiple disciplines
Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
Licensed Interior Designer CID (in Maryland)
5-10+ years of work experience
5-10+ years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Creative Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign is preferred
Experience with computer-assisted design software such as Enscape and Sketch Up
Experience in construction document development, finish selection and space planning/programming

Responsibilities

Manage multiple commercial interiors projects
Skilled in all phases of design process – programming, space planning, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration
Provide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications and material selections required for construction
Develop selection of furniture systems/ specifications.
Coordinate and collaborate with furniture vendor through ordering and installation of materials
Manage client expectations and consultant coordination
Produce design drawings in AutoCAD & Revit
Knowledge of current building codes
Perform other related duties as assigned
