Our Grand Rapids MI location is currently seeking an Sr. Interior Designer Quoting Specialist. This role is responsible for providing vetting product feasibility, developing product solutions and specifications. and managing projects with customer-facing activities that successfully address customer needs. Focuses most of the effort on large or high-profile projects and product customization and assists with smaller and simpler product modifications as needed. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in interior design, architecture, engineering or related technical field is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 4+ years’ commercial interior design experience is required.
• 3 years’ experience with medium-scale projects is required

Responsibilities

• Tasked with facilitating the more complex nature of Project and Custom Quote requests and assisting with smaller opportunities as needed.
• Modifies standard product and/or develops new product solutions/ applications with the understanding of material and product physical constraints.
• Obtains needed information from clients to accurately address required product solutions.
• Obtains relevant information from other departments within Nucraft as needed to develop differentiating design applications of Nucraft solutions.
• Generates creative client value-add and value-engineered project solutions by skillfully applying design principles and analyzing information to transform design concepts into sales tools.
• Provides guidance and expertise in relation to product application, design features and capabilities, customization opportunities and constraints, technology integration, along with pricing and budgetary assessments.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure understanding of customer objectives and use feedback to modify designs and to provide design applications and solutions.
• Ability to conduct video conferencing sessions to assist customers with general product inquiries and specification.
