About The Position

The Sr. Integration Engineer will ensure the operational functionality of system releases by focusing on all aspects of system design and engineering/integration. The Sr. Integration Engineer will work with NSWCDD DNA stakeholders, development and support teams to develop and integrate secure capabilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provisioning RHEL and CentOS servers in both physical and virtual environment Integrating a variety of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open-source applications within existing RHEL and CentOS environments Troubleshooting quickly and efficiently in Linux, Windows based environments Researching and recommending innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks #LI-AM1

Requirements

  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a computer hardware, computer software, electronics technician, or engineering discipline or relevant experience
  • Ten years of full-time professional experience in systems analysis and design techniques
  • A combined total of three years of full-time professional system administration experience in Windows and Linux
  • A combined total of three years of full-time professional experience in all of the following skillsets/disciplines: High-level programming language (e.g. C++, Java, Python) Virtual computing environments (e.g. VMWare, VirtualBox, PROXMOX, XCP-ng) Software containerization application and utilization (e.g. Docker, IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Software configuration management of tracking bug/enhancements in software releases Repository management experience (e.g. Git, Mercurial) Scripting (e.g. bash, pearl, shell)
  • A combined total of One (1) year of professional experience with each of the following technologies: Relevant hardware architecture (e.g. Versa Module Eurocard (VME, VPX, Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA)) Configuration of Local Area Networks Machine Learning and Neural Networks Assembly level languages System and Network Cyber Security related activities

Responsibilities

  • Provisioning RHEL and CentOS servers in both physical and virtual environment
  • Integrating a variety of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open-source applications within existing RHEL and CentOS environments
  • Troubleshooting quickly and efficiently in Linux, Windows based environments
  • Researching and recommending innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks
