The Sr. Insurance Specialist is responsible for At Home General Liability, Property, Rental Car and Cargo claims - including but not limited to reporting, claims management, investigation, identification of risk transfer opportunities, collaboration for litigation, and collaboration for reserves and settlement approval. The Sr. Insurance Specialist ensures all required components for incident reports are collected including data fields, store investigations and root cause analysis, surveillance, photos, and secured evidence - in accordance with company policies and procedures. As a key member of the Legal team, the Sr. Claims Specialist reports to the Manager of Legal Affairs and will work closely with the Store and DC Management, Human Resources, , Loss Prevention, Facilities, Real Estate, Merchants, Quality Compliance and other partners as necessary. This position will also serve as a key resource for Corporate, the Stores and DC's and liaison with the Third Party Administrator, Insurance Brokers and Carriers to manage claims and insurance needs accordingly. The individual will be cross trained to support the Claims Team for Surety Bonds, Certificates of Insurance, Workers' Compensation and perform other tasks as needed. This individual will be responsible for working collaboratively to ensure best in class Claims and Insurance service.
