As a Sr. Instrumentation Electronics Engineer at Centrus Energy, you’ll build the nervous system of our advanced centrifuge technologies—crafting clever circuits, integrating sensors, and designing data-acquisition and control solutions that keep America’s clean-energy future spinning. You’ll develop new instrumentation electronics, write LabVIEW-based tools that turn signals into insight, and help bridge R&D to production with designs that are reliable, scalable, and wildly effective. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience, or equivalent industrial instrumentation experience
  • 1+ years in manufacturing, R&D, and electronics development
  • Experience with instrumentation, sensors, circuit development, and data-acquisition design
  • Familiarity with simulation and modeling (e.g., Altium, PSPICE, LabVIEW, Simulink, OrCAD)
  • 3+ years of nuclear-industry experience
  • Hands-on circuit design and implementation for production/manufacturing
  • Deep LabVIEW data-acquisition experience
  • Embedded software development and/or test experience
  • An active “Q” lor “L” level security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
  • Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening in accordance with Federal requirements (details below)
  • Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
