Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, servicing, and commissioning of electronic security systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and networking principles.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in electronic security systems (e.g., CCNA, PSP, or equivalent) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and commission electronic security systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conduct system testing and provide detailed documentation of findings and corrective actions taken.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and assist in their training and development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies during all phases of installation and service work.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and submit accurate service reports, time logs, and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Stay current with emerging security technologies and industry best practices to enhance service delivery.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale security system projects.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts required for field operations.
