This role serves as an entry point into o9 solutions, providing an opportunity to learn the business from a sales and commercialization perspective by collaborating with Account Executives and Pre-sales teams to discover and develop revenue-generating client solutions. The Sr. Innovation Strategist will strategically identify key decision-makers at target market companies and help grow the customer base across the U.S. in designated industry verticals through consistent outreach and engagement. A successful candidate will possess intellectual curiosity and a drive to understand potential customers' supply chain challenges and articulate how o9's solutions can assist. The role is based in Dallas, TX, and offers a hybrid work approach. o9 has transitioned from a start-up to a scale-up, offering opportunities to build relationships across various departments like Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success/Client Management, enabling career advancement both domestically and internationally within a global employee base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a business, marketing or a quantitative field
  • 2 years consulting experience required
  • Intellectual curiosity and drive to make an impact that will enable you to seek and understand the supply chain challenges of potential customers and speak to how our solutions can assist
  • Proficient use of GSuite/MS Office
  • Proficient use of LinkedIn

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of supply chain planning concepts
  • 3-5 years professional B2B business development experience
  • Experience with CRM and lead generation software (e.g. Salesforce, Apollo)

Responsibilities

  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the US market through marketing campaigns, event marketing, social media activities
  • Building a prospect database and communication strategy using LinkedIn and other supply chain business sources, continually striving to be innovative in your outreach approach
  • Working cross-functionally with the Industry Sales Leaders, Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to initiate introductory meetings with your assigned industry prospects and partners, conducting some limited demonstrations of the o9 platform
  • Partnering with the o9 Creative team to create innovative content and ideas for outreach strategies as well as continued community engagement events in various markets
  • Maintaining up to date prospect and client information via the Salesforce CRM platform
  • Networking and sharing best practices with the Innovations Strategist teams
