As a Senior Systems Engineer-IT, you will: - Provide systems (server/application/network) administration of the development and production environments - Perform COTS hardware/software integration, testing and verification - Support system security activities including vulnerability management, access control and authentication, file system security, system hardening, compliance and auditing - Support operational site in use of the deployed baseline - Perform automation development and support activities (Python/Bash/Ansible scripting) - Documenting defects in discrepancy reports and collaborating with technical team on solutions

Requirements

  • Virtualization experience
  • Linux and Windows systems administration capabilities for configuration and management, package management and software installation, troubleshooting/performance optimization, security support tasks
  • Ability to script (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate tasks and workflows
  • Ability to perform IT environment hardening/security management, including administration of Trellix
  • Security + or CISSP Certifications or other certification that fulfills DOD 8570 requirements
  • Active TS Clearance Required to Start

  • NetApp experience
  • vSAN experience
  • Experience implementing and managing STIGs
  • Software installations, account management (Active Directory & Group Policy), virtualization, networking, hardware design, procurement and installation, systems engineering, test and verification.
