Position Overview: This position will provide comprehensive Information Technology Architecture and advanced engineering support to Proterra's Director of IT & Infrastructure engineering and other technology leadership team members. As the Infrastructure Architect you will work with business and technology leadership product managers, domain architects and senior technologists to understand the holistic business strategy and then to identify, define and develop solution specific, cloud-native, IT architectures and product deliverables to support the company technology road map. In this role, you will design and develop IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data, and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. You will perform technical planning, participate heavily in project intake architecture development, and modification of specifications as well as develops specifications for new products, services and applications being introduced into Proterra for in-house use and customer facing. Work closely with our Project Management office to develop IT integration for the Information Technology project portfolio. This opportunity will also require that you assess the compatibility and integration of products and services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
