About The Position

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to oversee the security of our large AWS cloud-based capabilities. This role is critical in ensuring the security and compliance of our systems, including the creation and accreditation of System Security Plans (SSPs) and the execution of other standard ISSO tasks. The ISSO will play a vital role in safeguarding our systems and data, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our cloud-based capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Active TS/SCI w/Poly.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the NC3 mission space.
• AWS cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive SSPs to ensure our AWS cloud infrastructure meets all relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Manage security incident response, maintain security documentation, and provide security training and guidance to team members.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of our operations.
