Solid State Transformers systems are much more than a transformer replacement, enabling numerous advanced features to unlock solutions for data centers, EV charging, renewables, microgrids, and industrial installations. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles.
  • Proven experience with endpoint protection/EDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Carbon Black).
  • Hands-on experience with phishing simulation platforms and security awareness training.
  • Strong knowledge of email security, DLP, incident response frameworks, and IAM principles.
  • Familiarity with securing web applications and SaaS environments.
  • Understanding of NERC CIP compliance requirements and their application in the electric power industry.
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment and build processes from scratch.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; prior experience mentoring or leading a team is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build and mature the cybersecurity program from the ground up, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and manage endpoint protection (EDR) and SIEM solutions across the organization.
  • Develop and execute phishing simulations and security awareness training programs for employees.
  • Configure and maintain email security and data loss prevention (DLP) tools.
  • Lead incident response efforts, including detection, triage, and remediation of security events.
  • Secure the company’s web application and ensure robust security for all SaaS platforms in use.
  • Coordinate vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts across all IT assets.
  • Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures, including identity and access management (IAM) best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to integrate security into development and operational workflows.
  • Prepare for compliance audits and risk assessments, with a focus on NERC CIP standards.
  • Mentor and eventually manage a small team of cybersecurity professionals.
