About The Position

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Information Operations (IO) planner to integrate Information Related Capabilities (IRC), functions and tasks into all facets of US CYBERCOM’s level planning, and to ensure the command group and staff consider all IRCs in the decision-making process. The role involves providing expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment skills; creatively using all information systems and IRCs regarding; integrating interagency and intelligence community (IC); developing innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the Cyber and electromagnetic spectrum; and considering significant or key cultural aspects that affect operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessments. The planner will review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level IO-related directives in support of maneuver elements. As a subject matter expert in all operations in the information environment, the planner will effectively apply technical skills to operational and tactical planning/execution, identifying, and tracking measures of performance through attainment of measures of effectiveness, and providing advice concerning the application of all IRC capabilities during the development of operational concepts. The role requires a working knowledge of MISO/IO, Military Deception (MILDEC), operations security (OPSEC), electronic warfare (EW), and cyberspace operations missions, tasks, and overall warfighting functions to support operations, integrate joint warfare capabilities, and synchronize activities of mutual concern. The planner must be an expert in oral, visual, & written communications and briefing techniques to provide to leadership, effectively advise, negotiate and persuade various managers, military officials, and senior leaders; and be effective at gaining acceptance of recommended concepts, ideas, guidance, policies, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of planning experience or a combined total of a minimum of 16 years between education and relevant service.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with IO planning at the service or joint level.
  • Knowledge in joint operational planning process and military decision-making process.
  • Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations.
  • Familiarity with Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Military Deception (MILDEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), Tactical Electronic Warfare (EW), Cyberspace Operations, and SIGINT related activities.
  • Knowledge of service departments functions and their relationships to the CCMD.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must possess a current U.S. Passport with at least a year remaining before expiration.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $135,000 - $216,000.
  • Eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus.
