About The Position

Search across Apple products is powered by a set of powerful technologies from the AIML organization. There is immense potential in being able to bring these capabilities to personal data in a secure and private way. Our team is engaged in building experiences that will enable users to find insights from their personal data that will only be possible in the Apple ecosystem. We are looking for an experienced software engineer to build and drive the next set of technologies that will power personal search. Ideally you have a deep technical understanding of iOS or macOS, experience in prototyping ideas, and shipping solutions that can work for a diverse set of users and can be performant on various devices. Having robust technical opinions, and the drive to experiment while staying focused on timely deliverables are key to being successful here.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in building software solutions (frameworks, UI) for iOS or macOS
• Track record of working cross functionally with engineers, designers, ML engineers etc to ship products

Nice To Haves

• Strong product focus and ability to advocate for the end user experience
• Deep understanding of and a strong opinion on software quality
• Comfortable with taking ownership and driving product quality end-to-end
