About The Position

As a Sr. HVAC Technician, you will be the primary service and maintenance contact for our customers in a defined market, which includes a diverse commercial base such as healthcare facilities, process manufacturing, educational institutions, and office complexes. Your role will involve commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in a commercial environment. You will leverage your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems. In this position, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects. You will represent Trane Technologies by serving as the direct customer contact, ensuring customer satisfaction through the identification, examination, diagnosis, and repair of equipment and systems at the customer's location. Coordination with the team leader or project manager and the customer is essential to understand the requirements for all on-site installations and repairs. You will forecast potential issues, gather necessary materials, and synchronize on-site work to ensure efficiency. Utilizing cutting-edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand tools, you will follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units. Safety is paramount, and you will enforce the highest standards while maintaining security and accountability of company-issued assets. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor team members, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and customer service by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
