About The Position

The Sr. Human Resources Manager at our Gastonia, NC facility will provide HR Team leadership, HR expertise, best practices, and solutions. They will also develop, manage, coordinate, and administer a variety of programs and projects. Your Challenge Receives targets, prioritization, and general direction from the Regional HRBP Sustains continuous dialogue with people managers on both internal and external change issues and opportunities. Supports development of change plans and implementation of talent program. Partners with Communities of Expertise and HR Operations to develop policies, programs, tools and provide timely feedback on effectiveness and value to the business. Assists Regional HRBP or Sub Regional HRBP or HR Manager in selected topics when necessary. Informs country/site BPs about relevant local strategic Talent topics, as well as further relevant HR key topics discussed with the direct Business contacts. Supports the application of strategies to address talent gaps and needs. Supports the regional development and drives the local implementation of HR strategies, programs, tools and policies with BPs and CoEs to build and enhance organizational capability. Serves as enabling contact for local HR Services in escalated/complex issues.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience including previous experience as HRBP or HR Mgr. within a manufacturing environment.
  • HRIS experience (Success Factors preferred)

  • HR Certifications - SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP a plus

  • Knowledge about U.S. labor legal environment (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, FLSA, etc.)
  • Leads an HR team within the manufacturing plant
