As a Sr. HSE Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental engineering. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the well-being of employees, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting sustainability. Your expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance will enable us to mitigate potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment. You will report directly to our Sr. HSE Manager, and you will work remotely when you're not on a travel assignment. In this role, you will impact our business by ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment. Your contributions will not only protect our people and assets but also enhance our reputation as a responsible and sustainable organization.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategies that foster a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
  • Implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents.
  • Promote environmental sustainability and minimize the environmental impact of our operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and education on HSE matters.
  • 6+ years of experience in HSE engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Passion for promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
