We are looking for a dynamic, detailed oriented Sr. HRIS Analyst professional to join a company and human resource team that believes in treating employees like family. The Sr. HRIS Analyst will manage and maintain GILLIG's Human Capital Management (HCM) ensuring its optimal functionality and alignment with business goals. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, supporting HCM upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects. As a member of the human resources team, you may be given other assignments to support the department unrelated to the HCM system. This role is based at our corporate office in Livermore, CA, however, there will be hybrid flexibility given project needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience supporting HRIS systems including Core HR, ATS, Talent Management, Compensation, LMS, and Payroll modules
  • 2-3 years' experience with SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG (Kronos Workforce Dimensions)
  • HCM Systems implementation experience
  • Technical skills - knowledge of SQL, XML and data migration scripting experience
  • Advanced experience in MS Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Visio, and SharePoint)
  • Excellent communication and strong problem-solving skills (critical, strategic, and evaluative thinking)
  • Experience in project management and prior involvement with end-to-end HR technology-related projects
  • Experience in identifying root cause analysis and providing a resolution
  • Advanced knowledge of constructing metric dashboard and custom reporting
  • Proven knowledge of HR systems structure, functions, and processes; understanding of interdependence between various systems and downstream impact
  • Proficient in effectively explaining requirements, design, development, and testing as well as maintaining accurate documentation

Responsibilities

  • Support and provide HRIS technical oversight, gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, map business processes, determine system configuration and integration with other systems, evaluate data conversion, work cross-functionally with other groups, and create and execute a testing plan
  • Collaborate with IT to manage system feeds to ensure downstream applications are aligned
  • Conduct systems audit in all areas of HCM data including security, system foundation setup, compensation, open enrollment, performance management, and recruitment
  • Prepare and train others on standard operating procedures and system functionality to ensure operational excellence
  • Provides root cause analysis and resolution to issues related to the current production environment
  • Work with HR and business management to design and develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to identify trends to support business decisions
  • Be responsible for global data integrity by building business processes and employing quality control strategies
  • Develop and correct code based on functional requirements defined via business requirement documents (BRDs), functional Specification design documents (FSDs), and Technical Design Documents (TDDs) written descriptions in bug tracking systems
  • Oversee the design, delivery, and administration of our HRIS
  • Create a proactive partner with the IT Business Applications team to support configuration, upgrades, and business initiatives
  • Other HR activities as needed within the HR department
