About The Position

MAG is seeking a Human Resource Professional to support Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG), Annapolis Junction, MD. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing team with multiple opportunities for upward advancement supporting NCWDG. Must Be A US Citizen CURRENT ACTIVE DoD Top Secret Clearance This is a daily on site opportunity - no remote option

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience
  • Experience in a HR government contracting environment
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have knowledge of employment law
  • Must possess knowledge of human resource policies
  • Experience with work force problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Must possess organization skill and attention to details
  • Must possess strategic thinking skills
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance
  • Possess eligibility for access to be upgraded to a TS/SCI in the NEAR future upon hire - (ALL HIRES WILL MAINTAIN AN SCI - MAG Will Upgrade your TS to TS/SCI - IF YOU POSSES THE BACKGROUND TO BE UPGRADED)
  • Be able to successfully pass a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination in the future
  • Possess an investigation that is current within 6 years
  • Personnel who are enrolled in CE will also be eligible
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Help build, manage, and retain the workforce based upon organizational goals, budget considerations, and staffing needs.
  • Provide assistance and support in job analysis, recruiting, screening, interview preparation, onboarding and resignation and/or retirement of personnel.
  • Assist the government in resolving conflicts, handling disciplinary actions and resolving conflicts.
  • Support development and enforcement of HR policies, ensuring adherence to labor laws and management of personnel records.
  • Support supervisors in performance reviews and appraisal.
  • Support employee recognition efforts through quarterly awards, length of service awards and annual performance awards.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives.
