We are seeking a seasoned Senior HR Manager for our Billerica, MA and Danvers, MA manufacturing facilities. The role will provide strategic expertise and consultation in the areas of organizational design & transformation, change management, strategic workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement and retention, talent development, coaching, and support of multiple time-bound initiatives throughout the year. You will partner with manufacturing leaders to build strong teams and engage employees, bringing experience and expertise to the table, while closely collaborating with HR Centers of Expertise to drive solutions. You will utilize your HR expertise to develop strong relationships with site leaders to drive business results. This role is a direct manufacturing site support role located onsite in our Billerica, MA or Danvers, MA facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR experience, OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Previous roles in large global matrixed Fortune 500 organization supporting manufacturing facilities.
  • Experienced HR professional with a successful track record of implementing HR programs in a fast-paced global business. Experience in Medical device, Technology, Healthcare, or Consumer Product (i.e., Amazon) industry a plus.
  • Strong understanding of talent management, development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness best practices.

  • Proficiency in HRIS software (Workday, Kronos) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiency in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, implements, and executes human resources strategies for the Billerica, MA and Danvers, MA manufacturing site(s) and functional groups.
  • Lead organizational transformation initiatives and partner with the site leaders to create a culture of excellence at each site.
  • Identify and plan for critical capabilities required to deliver on the business strategy and Medtronic mission.
  • Lead the sites to effectively plan, navigate and continuously adapt to change.
  • Translate business needs to ongoing talent actions including talent attraction, development, placement, retention and succession.
  • Enable leaders to drive outcomes through effective leadership and teams.
  • Provides solutions through organizational effectiveness and employee life cycle management.
  • Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management.
  • Partner with leaders to develop actions for fostering a culture that drives performance, inclusion, equity, innovation and engagement.
  • Monitor competitive & business landscape to identify relevant trends and opportunities.
  • Leverage data judgment to drive actions that impact business results.
