About The Position

The Senior Human Resources Program Director is a key business partner within the highly profitable and growing Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Operating Unit. They will partner with the leaders of the Cardiac Implantable Technology Development Center (TDC), OU Operations and Supply Chain, and Patient Care Systems, working to maximize achievement of short- and long-term business goals. This individual must be a strong communicator who can drive alignment to the broader CRM Strategy. This is a highly valued, high impact position. As an integral link between executive leadership and other members of the Global leadership teams, their key responsibilities will be to provide strategic direction to build upon our ID&E action and strategic workforce plans, design strategic initiatives to ensure organizational effectiveness globally, and lead the organization through periods of significant change and rapid organic and inorganic growth. They will also participate in select company-wide initiatives, representing both the client organizations and the broader Medtronic organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of experience in Human Resources including experience partnering with executive leaders on strategic projects.
  • OR Advanced degree and 13+ years of experience in Human Resources including partnering with executive leaders on strategic projects.
  • HR generalist / HR business partner experience required.
  • 10+ years of project or people managerial experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business, I/O Psychology or Human Resources.
  • Successful track record as a Sr HR Director.
  • Previous HR leadership roles in a high-growth, fast-paced business.
  • 7+ years experience in providing work direction and leadership to people and teams.
  • Experience in HR strategy development and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing large-scale change initiatives.
  • Experience in a global, matrix management structure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction to build upon our ID&E action and strategic workforce plans.
  • Design strategic initiatives to ensure organizational effectiveness globally.
  • Design, lead, and enable execution of organizational design efforts across stakeholders and cross functional teams.
  • Effectively lead the organization through periods of significant change and rapid organic and inorganic growth.
  • In partnership with leadership design and implement talent strategies within their areas of responsibility.
  • Create proactive plans and partner with the COEs to ensure effective execution of programs and initiatives in various HR functions.
  • Participate in benchmarking and best practices research as it applies to Corporate and Medtronic business overall.
  • Manage/participate on key projects and initiatives as required.
