We are seeking a results-oriented Sr. HR Consultant - Employee Relations with a strong Generalist background, to join our People & Culture Operations Team. This talented individual will support our various businesses, with a focus on complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations. This role will be based out of our Lisle, Illinois headquarters.

  • Conducting employee investigations and employee relations, as well as a variety of generalist duties
  • Document and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all ER cases
  • Maintain good/consistent communication with manager and employee on pending cases
  • Interpret and drive consistency of HR policies and practices
  • Work cross functionally with legal, compliance, HR Business Partners, COEs, etc. across the company to plan and implement various initiatives and processes
  • Works closely with site leaders to ensure that all policies and procedures are understood, communicated, and consistently administered with all employees
  • Lead change
  • Project management of key cross functional programs and priorities
  • Analyze data to drive critical business decisions
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of human resources experience with at least 1 year of lead experience
  • OR Master's degree and at least 6 years of human resources experience with at least 1 year of lead experience
  • OR at least 10 years of human resources experience with at least 1 year of lead experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis to be employed in the United States
  • Experience independently handling employee relations investigations and cases
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, possibly conflicting priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent problem solving and timely decision-making experience
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills and follow-up
  • Ability to build relationships and act as a liaison when necessary
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
