About The Position

Iteris is seeking an Sr. HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to business units, providing expertise in various HR functions to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving the success of our organization by aligning human resources strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as an HR Business Partner, Manager or similar strategic HR role
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align HR strategies with both short- and long-term organizational goals
  • Ability to build relationships with senior leadership and act as a trusted advisor
  • In-depth knowledge of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and compliance
  • Proficiency in developing and assessing HR metrics and analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and informed decision-making
  • Thorough understanding of HR regulatory environment and compliance requirements
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel
  • Strong demonstrated ability to consistently perform work independently, accurately, and thoroughly

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic human resources consultation and support to designated business units to define and execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives
  • Contribute to the development of workforce plans by assessing and aligning to evolving business needs and priorities
  • Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to line managers
  • Provide coaching and development tools to members of leadership
  • Acts as liaison with other HR functions
  • Proactively provide change management support and recommendations
  • Collaborate with leadership on succession planning initiatives to identify and develop key talent within the organization
  • Lead company wide initiatives with support from fellow HRBP
  • Manage heavy employee relations cases to mitigate risk and litigation
