WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a position to join our team. This role will create HMI/PLC software for control and monitoring of industrial drive and starter packages using programmable logic controllers (PLC) and/or Human Machine Interface (HMI). You will create designs and documentation for control panels. These include technical product specification and software inspection plans. Design/test/install/ ladder logic and/or software and provide technical support. Also design electrical power and control. PLC/HMI programmers work full time but experience a limited amount of travel and activity in the workplace, such as supervising the installation of their programs and provide commissioning assistance. Programmers have to keep colleagues, managers, and clients in the loop as to progress and deviations from schedule or budget so as not to disturb the workflow of the whole. Other duties and tasks as assigned.
