About The Position

The Senior Health Information Technology (HIT) Strategic Account Manager plays a crucial leadership role in promoting health information technology initiatives aimed at improving colorectal cancer (CRC) screening among Organized Customers. This field-based position will support the Louisiana, Tennessee, and Kentucky markets, working closely with account managers and C/D Suite leaders to optimize HIT technologies and workflows currently utilized by health system customers. The role involves acting as a technical expert, aligning HIT capabilities with customer needs, and establishing relationships with key decision-makers to influence CRC screening protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, healthcare, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in health information technology, marketing, or commercial field.
  • Basic computer skills including Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing.
  • Ability to meet healthcare facility access requirements (e.g., vaccination, mask).
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical expert to the SAM/NAM team and HQ regarding Health IT strategies and resources.
  • Align Exact Sciences HIT capabilities with customer EHR capabilities to enhance CRC screening rates.
  • Provide insights about customers and local market dynamics.
  • Assist marketing in developing new resources/tools for market use.
  • Identify and develop HIT market shaping opportunities with relevant vendors and stakeholders.
  • Monitor external technical and business environments for innovative needs.
  • Provide educational support to the EXAS account team on HIT capabilities and trends.
  • Establish relationships with decision-makers and Key Opinion Leaders in health information technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover clinical/customer technology needs.
  • Deliver regular business reviews with the Account Team and HIT leadership.
  • Create business plans for opportunity development and strategic account targeting.
  • Ensure alignment among key stakeholders on business opportunities.
