About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Hardware and Rack Integration Engineer (L11) to help shape the future of next-generation rack products. In this role, you will lead the design, integration, and validation of rack-level solutions that power large-scale data center environments. You’ll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, program management, procurement, and customer-facing teams to ensure our racks meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and quality. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on data center infrastructure while gaining exposure to the full product lifecycle — from concept and design through integration, testing, and production. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. You are a strong collaborator who communicates effectively across teams, adapts quickly to shifting priorities, and takes pride in delivering high-quality solutions. You bring hands-on experience in rack or hardware integration, paired with solid problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. A detail-oriented team player, you balance technical rigor with flexibility, making you effective in both execution and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with rack-level hardware design, integration, cable networking and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with servers, rack systems, and network technologies.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, networking, manufacturing, and quality engineering principles.
  • Experience collaborating with program management on project tracking, deliverables, and milestone execution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Agile PLM or SAP preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and integration of new rack products, specifications, networking and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Partner with program management to drive schedules, track milestones, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Program Management) and customers from Engineering Validation Test (EVT) through Production Validation Test (PVT).
  • Collaborate with design, supply chain, and operations teams to align technical requirements with program goals.
  • Analyze technical specifications and documentation to ensure compliance with design requirements.
  • Own rack integration activities including testing, troubleshooting, and hands-on support during product ramp-up.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, test reports, and status updates for traceability and compliance.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to internal teams and system integrators.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
