About The Position

The SR Graphic Designer position at Mathis Home involves receiving work orders, prioritizing workload based on deadlines and decisions from the Chief Marketing Officer. The role requires effective communication with customers and other departments to gather necessary information for projects. The designer will provide rough concept options, request revisions, and obtain approval from the Chief Marketing Officer before producing final content. Additionally, the designer will outsource print production to local facilities and ensure the delivery and installation of assets. The position also includes delivering digital assets to relevant teams and receiving feedback on various advertising materials. The designer will serve as a leader in the department, guiding other graphic designers and assisting the Chief Marketing Officer in content creation as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Expert knowledge of the latest computer packages used for graphic design.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, project planning systems.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS.
• Outstanding communication skills, both visual and verbal.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the department and provide guidance to graphic designers.
• Assist the Chief Marketing Officer in creating content as needed.
• Perform any other duties as directed by management.
