About The Position

The Sr. Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptually developing and executing high-quality visual content for marketing, branding, and communication efforts. Reporting to the Content Director, this role works to translate high-level brand strategy into compelling visual assets. The Sr. Graphic Designer leads the execution of key design projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives, while serving as a technical lead for the design team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field required
  • 3 years of experience in graphic design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with strong fundamental skillset in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, as well as other design and multimedia tools
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout composition design principles
  • Experience with both print and digital design, including web design and social media content creation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design ideas clearly
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience working within established brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with photo and/or video camera operation and basic lighting/production setup to assist in capturing raw brand content is a plus
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience designing for web and mobile platforms is a plus
  • Experience and interest in emerging AI technologies to generate, upscale, enhance and optimize design assets is a plus
  • Knowledge or interest in the sports, active-lifestyle, or fashion apparel industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design creative concepts, graphics, and layouts for digital, print, and multimedia platforms, including marketing materials, websites, social media, advertisements, packaging, and more
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and product managers to develop visual assets that support business goals, while working under the guidance of the Creative Director to ensure design consistency
  • Lead the hands-on design of major projects from concept to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and timely delivery
  • Uphold and implement established brand guidelines across all channels, ensuring that every piece of collateral reinforces the company’s visual identity
  • Ability to present design ideas and concepts to marketing leadership and team members incorporating feedback to refine and improve creative outputs
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing work based on deadlines and business priorities
  • Maintain expert knowledge of industry trends, design tools, and software, applying best practices to keep the company’s creative output modern and competitive
  • Work closely with external vendors, such as printers and production companies, to ensure the highest quality of printed and digital assets
  • Ensure all visual content adheres to legal requirements and copyright regulations
