About The Position

Transform the future of aviation hardware by leading critical development programs that bridge engineering innovation and supply chain excellence. You'll be the strategic orchestrator who ensures high-quality, cost-effective materials reach production, directly impacting the performance and reliability of aviation technologies. We're seeking an innovative and collaborative Global Commodity Manager to drive critical aviation hardware development programs from concept to production. In this pivotal role, you'll own the management of aviation hardware components from part entry, forecasting and demand including EE, MCAD, and PD parts. You will oversee engineering change orders and plan part disposition by aligning with the contract manufacturer’s production orders to meet building yields and rates. Establish processes and automation to ensure the aviation supply chain delivers high quality, cost effective materials to support production requirements. Perform cost analyses from projected yields to aid in procurement strategy adjustment as needed. Ensure that the respective commodities meet the technical specifications and cost requirements necessary for aviation terminals. Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and technical problem-solving. You'll navigate complex engineering landscapes, connecting technical specifications with procurement strategies, and ensuring seamless communication between design teams and manufacturing partners. We are a collaborative group of technical professionals dedicated to pushing the boundaries of aviation hardware development. Our team thrives on innovation, precision, and the shared goal of delivering exceptional engineering solutions that drive technological advancement in the aviation industry. By joining us, you'll contribute to innovative projects that directly impact aviation infrastructure and technological advancement.
